Thanks for joining me here for another dispatch of my (mostly) twice-weekly music and menswear newsletter, which is different (but somewhat the same) as my daily style blog from which it gets its name. Thanks for reading!
As the headline implies, I’m heading out on the “holiday road” today, trekking down to Florida with some of my favorite menswear picks handy for the holiday season. Sure, you might associate the ‘80s Lindsey Buckingham classic with the summer classic flick “Vacation,” but who’s to say you can’t have both? As I travel, I’ll be listening to the November LP by Brooklyn’s own Nation Of Language, as I talked about in my last newsletter, and I’ll be reading up on some of the best music releases of 2021 — not to mention the most anticipated albums of 2022 (count me in for the upcoming release by Canadian indie rockers Alvvays, no doubt about it).
You should also stay on the lookout for a few contributions in the days ahead by yours truly over at indie music site Atwood Magazine, as I offered up a few choice picks of mine for the site’s year-end lists. Stay tuned if you’re a fan of this year’s albums by, well, Wild Pink and The War On Drugs, to name just two. In the meantime, I’ll be taking on a few extra stories to end the year over at SPY.com, where I cover everything from menswear to beer to watches. If you like the sound of that, you should also check out my daily style blog, because I think it’ll be right up your alley. For now, let’s round out the weekend in style (and with great music close at hand). Thanks for reading — cheers!
I am blown away by how much content you produce a week to keep your audience informed@ Safe travels and Happy New Year!
