Thanks for joining me here for another dispatch of my (mostly) twice-weekly music and menswear newsletter, which is different (but somewhat the same) as my daily style blog from which it gets its name. Thanks for reading!

Folks, if you check in regularly with this newsletter (or my daily, regular blog), you might have noticed the publishing schedule (or editorial calendar, as we call it in the business) shifted a bit. That’s because I was writing not from the confines of my Brooklyn apartment — where it’s finally cold enough to wear a flannel shirt — but from the sometimes foggy, sometimes sunny climate of San Francisco. I attended Outside Lands Music Festival for the first time in seven years, and not as a fan, but as a certified, real, live member of the press, camera in hand, for independent music publication Atwood Magazine! To say I was thrilled doesn’t begin to cover it. Hopefully, you kept up with all the fun on my Instagram, including standout sets by The Strokes, Sharon Van Etten and many more.
